Chez Pus

Company names can be funny in Spanish, too. We noticed a restaurant in the background of a TV newscast named Yaga. Sounds a lot like llaga, a word that means (in some locales) a scabbed-over sore with pus oozing out of it.

And a certain Asian firm won't appeal to too many Spanish-speaking people with a name like this:

In good company

Some companies located near my home have interesting names. For instance, there's Fish Furniture. I didn't even know fish needed furniture.

But that's not the most intriguing example. What do you suppose these companies do?
